Sustainable University in India according to QS World University Rankings

Sustainability ranking is a new framework launched by the QS World University Rankings, which, it is assessed, how much the university is taking action to tackle social and environmental problems.

More than 1300 universities from all over the world were evaluated but, only 700 universities appeared in the final rankings.

The University of California, Berkeley has topped the rankings, globally.

To India's pride, 15 universities in the rankings are from India.

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has topped the list from India, bagging in the range of 281-300.

Followed by IIT (Delhi) at 321-340 rank. And, Jawaharlal Nehru University at third rank, in the nation, and 361-380 rank, globally.

Other universities ranking in the list are the University of Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, Aligarh Muslim University, and Banaras Hindu University.

The U.S dominates the rankings with 19.2% of its universities while the United Kingdom is the most represented country with 67 universities ranked.
