The 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival talent roster will be announced on Friday, and in preparation, the festival has unveiled this year's commemorative poster.

James Michalopoulos, a seasoned Jazz Fest poster artist, filters a lively, vibrant French Quarter street scene via his unique vision in "Quarter (Love) Note."

This year's Jazz Fest poster is horizontally oriented, similar to the 50th anniversary poster from 2019, which featured 55 illustrious artists in a group photo. The primary Jazz Fest posters are often vertical.

This work "encapsulates the artist's life work in a panorama of magnificent colour and detail; instantly recognisable as his oeuvre yet more vast than anything that preceded it."

Art4Now, which also functions as a broker for private individuals to buy and sell Jazz Fest posters from prior years, allows users to pre-order the new poster.

It costs $89 to purchase one of the 10,000 numbered prints of "Quarter (Love) Note."

The price of a limited edition, 2,500 print, signed and numbered by the artist, is $249.

Priced at $599, each of the 750 prints created by Remarques' artist is signed, numbered, and imprinted with a street tile.
